The Council on Legislation met earlier this year and passed several changes to the ways Rotary Clubs and Districts can conduct their business.
Frank Hopkins will make a presentation on these changes to the Board at its next meeting.
Some highlights include:
- Attendance requirements may be loosened (or tightened) at Club discretion
- Meeting schedules may vary at Club discretion
- e-clubs are now considered as full Rotary Clubs
- Clubs may offer new membership types, including associate, corporate, family; these members will be reported as 'active' for invoicing purposes
- Rotaractors are also eligible for a separate Rotary membership
