The District 7950 RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) program is a life-changing leadership program for tomorrow's leaders to gain hands-on experience in developing leadership skills with a focus on community service. The conference is open to high school sophomores and juniors from Rhode Island and Massachusetts with lasting opportunities for RYLA Alumni to step forward and work with Rotarians and other organizations to put their leadership skills into action through coordination of leadership seminars and community projects throughout the year.
Chariho Rotary is providing scholarships for 5 students to attend this year. Applications should be completed online no later than June 25th. Applicants should be either sophomores or juniors at either Chariho or Exeter West Greenwich High School, or live in the communities of Charlestown, Richmond, Hopkinton, Exeter, or West Greenwich Rhode Island. Please contact Interact Advisor Elizabeth Pasqualini with any questions.
RYLA will run July 30th thru August first, and due to COVID 19, will be completely virtual. See detailed schedule for this year's program to the left.
