CHS Courtyard Spruces-up for Fall
On the first Saturday of November, a team of 25 volunteers from the Chariho Rotary Club and Chariho High School Interact Club joined forces for three hours to clear leaves, weeds, and yard debris from the Chariho HS Courtyard. The Courtyard, which was a gift from the Rotary Club to the High School more than a decade ago, has been used by students to study or enjoy lunch outdoors, as well as by the school for events, receptions, and recitals. COVID-19 has only made the Courtyard more valuable to the school, serving at times as both an outdoor classroom and meeting space.
